Our team at The Cohen Cosmetic & Emergency Denture Clinic loves to welcome new patients to our Central Toronto Yonge Street Denture Clinic. Learn what to expect at your first visit to our Central Toronto Cosmetic Denture clinic.

What to expect at your first appointment

At The Cohen Cosmetic & Emergency Denture Clinic our philosophy is to educate and inform our patients.

We work with patients to create custom treatment plans to ensure their overall oral health needs are met and their whole mouth stays healthy and smiling.

The first appointment will take about an hour. You will meet with your denturist, who will review your current oral health status and address any dental concerns you have.

Your attending denturist will then examine your whole mouth including your teeth, your current dentures if present, jaws joints and gums.

Then the denturist will develop a comprehensive treatment plan – based on your intro-oral & extra-oral photographs, study models, and, if necessary, referrals to other dental/medical specialists.

Your comprehensive treatment plan is developed just for you to achieve the optimal results. based on your general and oral health needs and concerns.

We believe it’s important that you fully understand your treatment plan and options, and that we have a complete picture of your oral health needs and concerns.

If you ever have any questions for your denturist, or any of our team members we are more than happy to take the time to answer them!

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment.This will give you time to fill out the new patient forms and enjoy our welcoming waiting area, fresh magazines and large flat screen TV.

Insurance

Our denture services are covered by all insurance plans. Please bring your insurance information with you to your first appointment and our team will fill in your treatment details. You will submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy

Our team member will contact you one day before your appointment with a reminder. However, it is your responsibility to arrive on time for your appointments.

Your appointment has been reserved especially for you. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask for two business days notice to avoid a non- notice cancellation fee.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. We will not willfully disclose any individually identifiable information about you to any third party without first receiving your permission, as explained in this privacy statement. Furthermore, we do not specifically target children under the age of 16, nor do we knowingly collect, without parental consent, individually identifiable information from such children.
